Title: Best Practice for transferring J River 28 from Windows 10 to Mac OS
Post by: BuzzTexas on August 12, 2021, 10:42:20 pm
Challenge 1:

Moving J River from Windows-based OS (Win 10) to a Mac OS (Mojave).
My MC Library is backed up, but -

Challenge 2:

Telling MC 28 for Mac to now read the audio files from an external SSD HD. The external drive is recognized and accessible by the Mac.

I have been unsuccessful on both fronts so far. When I load my most recent library backup (from cloud), it shows entirely all Missing Files.

Assuming the answer lies in Library Tools > Rename, Move & Copy - but I've tried unsuccessfully multiple times.

If someone could provide the proper steps, or point to the post(s) that would assist, I would greatly appreciate it.
