Unexpected  shutdown of Application version 28.28.0.49

I upgraded to 24.0.49 and finding that the UI keeps shutting down, both when playing music and when I am not playing music. I thought it was a problem with the install, so I deleted everything and reinstalled everything from scratch.

I did not use the backup file to restore the library, but allowed the music files to be imported again onto the new install.

The shutdown of the application occurs about 3 to 4 minutes after it  has been started. I have had a look at the troubleshooting tips you have provided and I don’t believe any are relevant to the problem I am having. I have taken two log dumps, which  I have attached to this mail.

The log dumps were taken during the application shutdown, when I was playing music and when no music was being played.

Grateful for your assistance in resolving this issue

Thanking you in anticipation of your assistance

The two most common reasons for this behavior are antivirus or bad files.

Try configuring Windows Defender (thread on this board) and don't run another antivirus.

You could also try restoring a backup from  your previous version.  MC makes them automatically.  Search for *.zip files.

Try disabling auto-import. A bad file somewhere in your music folders can cause this.
