This actually occurred with MC 27 this evening, so I decided it was time to install MC 28. I uninstalled 27 first (not the full uninstall). Windows updated yesterday so this may be the culprit.
Before I mess things up anymore than they are at this point, I'm asking for any help you can provide.

Especially one called Windows Offender, it wouldn't surprise if one day that cranky thing decided to declare itself as a "Security Risk"
