Title: version 280053 looks like installable but in the end rejected

Hello,
280053 could be installed and version 28 is confirmed immediately. After restarting the MC, however, 28 has been replaced by 27.
Is that compatible with "unstable" edition?

Are you clicking a link icon which refers to MC27 and not the new MC28 installation?

Hover over the icon before you click to see what it is you're running.

Your MC28 installation may have failed.   Try it again and read carefully.
