Just installed program to try it out.
Everytime I try to deal with files or streams related to Windows Media files I get a warning pop-up that says program does not recognize Windows Media Player, and asks if I want to download the latest version.
However I already have Windows Media PLayer 9 on my system.
What's wrong? How do I fix it?

That's a problem with WMP9 right now. They didn't release an SDK for it until yesterday, so check back in a few days to see what we've found. It may take as much as two weeks, depending on what we need to do.

The problem is with stations streaming the "Windows Media Audio" format. Stations streaming "Real Audio" or "MP3 Streaming" are ok. Click on the station name to display the format used.

Any progress on this?
I like much about MJ and am seriously considering buying it, but only if this is likely to be fixed.

Have the same problem, in fact downloaded the beta in hopes it would fix it, no luck. What I don't understand is if the problem is related to the WMP 9 SDK why do I get the same error msg though for Real Player when BBC TV 1 News play link?
thanks, hope you guys are all well.

Because there is also a problem if you have RealOne player installed. Basically, Real doesn't want you to be able to use another player to play their files. If I recall, the fix for this is to uninstall RealOne and install an older version, like Real Player 8. If you do a search of the forums, you can probably find a few posts that have more details.

MC And MJ Should Check To Find Out If RealOne Or Real Player Is Installed If A Incompatable Version (RealOne) Is Installed. It Should Explain The Problem Then Direct The User To A Good Version Of Real Player.
