Title: BubbleUPnP plays just one track
Post by: stanzani on September 19, 2021, 06:03:58 am
Since JRiver and JRemote do not support Qobuz and Tidal natively for whatever reason I am using Blubble UPnP as suggested elsewhere.
The issue is that whevever I start a selection after defining JRiver28 as DLNA renderer in Bubble, just one track is played. I disabled Battery optimization on my Huawei P10+ Android phone. Bubble Works perfectly if I select Yamaha Musicast App to drive Yamaha NSP as media renderer so the issue in with JRiver

Any suggestion?

Thanks much

You need to start the album as a whole, not select a track. If you select a track, only that track will play, but if you start the album as a whole (nearer the top of Bubble's UI) then it will play all tracks, and you can skip to the next track etc...

FYI... I'm not sure at what point any particular Bubble or Android update broke gapless playback on Qobuz, but it did on my systems. The interesting part is that the same issue does not exist on the mconnect HD app, it will still play Qobuz gapless for me but Bubble no longer will.

To whom who cares: I resolved this by uninstalling Powergenie from my Huawei phone. It looks like this messes up power handling sometimes
