JRiver crashes about 1/3 of the way through an import of a usb hard drive. you could see the counter get about 1/3 of the way and then crash. I scanned the drive and all was normal. I wound up importing each sub folder separately and all were successfully imported. some folders seemed to pause for a hitch before successfully completing. So, I couldn't ID a problem file but it was time consuming to go through the folders one by one. Bit of a pain... I remember previous versions just not importing files that it couldn't manage... crashing out of the program should be a fail. This disk had been imported and xml files created but somehow got lost in the upgrades of computers and jriver's. don't know if that is a factor. TIA

Is the drive plugged into a USB 3.0 port? Try another port.
