This is a longstanding issue (i.e. many versions old) which I had not raised previously for no good reason
I use this MCWS call to start playback, i.e. I add Action=Play as a parameter
This has rather inconsistent behaviour with respect to which view is used when play starts, intermittently it launches in the theatre view playing now view despite this being a view I have never used for any purpose at any time.
Is there anything that would explain why it behaves like this? alternatively is there a way to specify exactly which view to use? for example, should I send some command to tell it to switch to display view first?
