After the latest update a number of my views under Audio had disapeared, no problem I thought, Restore a previous library, so I did. The instal sequence started for an update, this doesn't seem right Ithought, but clocked as requested and after a restart the program reappeared but still without my saved views. So Let us have a play I thought and restored todays library. Oooh here we have a click to update the program request, so let's do it, after a while we get back into the the program with the latest values, but still lackng any of my saved views.
No 1 an update should not destroy saved views of the library.
No 2 Restore of a past library should not require an update to a previous version of the program.
Question: What is going on?

Restoring a library doesn't install MC. You may have been in the wrong place.
Backup and restore are under the File > Library menu.
Backups are zip files. Search for them in Windows Explorer.
