Title: media server with Auralic

Hi all,

I have an Auralic Vega G2 which i control with Lightning DS app, it connects fine to JRiver media server loads files/artwork just fine.
But if i want to use jRivers volume levelling DSD files no longer play properly buffering then cutting out.

JRiver runs on a virtual machine with 8 cores (Xeon E5 2630L) so should have more than enough grunt.
Any ideas?

unlikely, 1Gb to switch, then 10Gb to server

Sounds like you may be converting DSD to PCM or PCM to DSD. Is that your intent? Volume leveling does not work with straight DSD files.  Check Audio Path to see what conversions may be happening to the files.  If you are converting PCM to DSD, what level of DSD are you using? Even powerful PCs struggle with conversion to higher level DSD formats.
