Title: Minimize to System Tray Problem...
Post by: DocLotus on March 25, 2003, 05:14:34 am
Does anyone else have this problem?

When MC is Minimize to System Tray I can't shut down Win XP until I unload MC.

This has been a problem ever since the Minimize to System Tray option was first introduced.

It makes no difference if I try to shut down Windows or a program such as Sleep Timer trys to shut down Windows.

I am usually running in TV mode & don't know if this has any impact on the problem but Windows will shut down with MC in TV mode if it is not minimized to the System Tray.

So thats whats at fault !!! I just saw this on my HTPC and was wondering why the power off button did not shut down the PC anymore...

Thats what I get for 'upgrading' a nice perfectly smooth machine...

I also have posted that the minimize to system tray function fails to work when MJ is loaded from the startup folder (with the shortcust set to run minimized) like it should and used to...
