Title: Number Plays, Skip Count not updating in MC 28

For several days I've been wondering why my smartlist was playing the same tunes over and over only to discover that the Number of Plays and Skip Count fields are not being updated. I exclusively play music through a DLNA server. The DLNA server has had no updates to its software. How do I fix this?
