Title: JRiver as WDM - Will atmos be supported?
Post by: tore.vange on December 20, 2021, 02:08:14 pm
Hi

MY setup is as follows:

Computer - master of all sources (ie streaming services like Netflix in app and HBO from Edge, flac-library, spotify)
JRiver as WDM, all audio is routed through JRiver.
DSP Studio in JRiver - all my crossover settings and frequency corrections
Lynx Aurora PCIe-card and Lynx Aurora 16 Processor with DA-conversion and analogue outputs to a few various power amps
6.4.0 surround system (fronts are three-way XO'ed in JRiver).

I have been looking for an excuse to expand with atmos, but is this still a no-go if I stick with JRiver and DSP Studio in JRiver?

BR
Tore

The only way to get Atmos out MC is to bitstream to a device that supports it.
