Title: At a loss with replay gain
Post by: alexbrasil on March 24, 2003, 05:00:51 am

So, I threw a party last saturday to celebrate my birthday and decided to burn some CDs to put people into dancing state without having to play DJ all night. Made my playlists and burned the CDs, using replay gain in order to ensure a common level to all the songs. Then, one song, just one amongst all the almost 120 songs I selected, went crazy in the CD, sounding like someone gave it some powerful drugs and sped up its pace. It was like playing with old LP players in the wrong rotation per minute. Weird. Any thoughts on the source of the weird behaviour, besides my feeling that I have to exorcise my MC?

I had the same thing happen to me. I never checked the details or anything, but I know it had something to do with the song's bitrate or number of channels or frequency or something.

This should have been fixed in build 129.  If you aren't running 9.0.130 or later, please upgrade.

If you are running the latest version, let us know.
