Title: Dual audio output?
Post by: stricko on February 10, 2022, 06:03:06 am
Hi there, I'm trying to get MC running on a single HTPC to output to two different home cinema setups. I'm outputting via a DisplayPort to one system and HDMI to the other. Video is working great, but I can't see a way to get audio to output to both sides. I can switch between outputs in the audio options, but the systems are used exclusively in theater view, with harmony remotes, so going in to change the output device would be a user unfriendly option. Any thoughts on how I might but achieve this ?

Are you using zones?  The wiki has a topic.

I've not tried zones, but it looks interesting. But would it be able to handle 7.1 audio going to one room, or 5.1 going to the other. I don't imagine a situation where both would be in use simultaneously.
