Title: Hotkeys
Post by: Kamisato Ayaka on February 21, 2022, 10:01:18 pm
I'm looking forward to the new version, but I'd like to know that the MC29 will get better stability (MC28 on Windows occasionally crashes when playing) and an easier way to customize hotkeys?

Make sure to configure Windows Defender according to AwesomeDonkey's thread here.

Make sure to configure Windows Defender according to AwesomeDonkey's thread here.

If you do the exclusions using general folders rather than version specific folders/executables you should not have to change anything going from major version to major version. Just exclude C:\Program Files\J River and %appdata%\J River and you should be all set independent of the version.

If you don't know, you can customize the hotkeys by changing a file in MC (https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/User_Defined_Global_Keyboard_Shortcuts), but i agree it is maybe not the easiest system.
