Hi,
Best way to play audio files (Hi-res 24/192-176 *.wav) from JRiver on PC, on Android mobile device via Wi-Fi and GPRS (Internet)?
I didn't find how to do this, what the best option, what function i need turn on on a JRiver (PC), and what programm best for audio (mean for Hi-Res *.wav) i need install on Android mobile device?
I want to play my music fom library on PC via Wi-Fi and GPRS on my Android device, and to the Android device i connect Bluetooth headphones.
I don't find answer for this question on forum or internet.

But I'm not find if JRemote2 support Hi-Res wia Wi-Fi and Internet. If I'm going to buy this program I want be shore about support Hi-Res audio.

Both JRiver Media Center and JRemote2 supports high bit-depth and sample rate audio just fine, I have JRemote2 playing a 24-bit/192 kHz file right now. In MC's Settings > Media Network > Client Options that you have Conversion set to Don't convert audio and it won't. In JRemote2 make sure you also have Use native audio format enabled. It'll work for FLAC, APE and other formats. It won't work for all types of audio files though.

Do you think you will hear a difference between a hi-res and normal flac file with your android and Bluetooth devices? I think not.

I think I'm not going to hear the difference, today Bluetooth codec's support +/- 16/48kHz, but I have music on my home system (Audio Server) only Hi-Res files... And I want to do maximum, what I can to get the best score.

Jremote2 didn't support 24/176-24/192kHz. Gizmo supports the same resolution.

Like I said above, set it to not convert audio in MC's Settings > Media Network > Client Options and it won't and it'll play hi-res audio correctly. Right now it's likely set to convert audio to MP3. In JRemote2 also make sure Use native audio format is enabled, but do note it'll only work with specific types of audio files, e.g. FLAC files.

Like I said above, set it to not convert audio in MC's Settings > Media Network > Client Options and it won't and it'll play hi-res audio correctly. Right now it's likely set to convert audio to MP3.

What types of files are you testing with here exactly? Perhaps DSD files (according to your screenshot above with it mentioning SACD)? If so, that likely won't work, as the majority of Android devices don't support DSD and as far as I know JRemote2 (or any remote for that matter) supports DSD playback locally. In those cases they'll have to be converted to another audio format, e.g. FLAC.
Try a 24-bit/192 kHz FLAC file as a test and see what happens. If you just made changes to your Media Network options, it might be a good idea to also restart Media Center before testing.

My audio library is a *.wav, and yes *.flac work, *.wav didn't work.
Another question is how to configure the JRiver with JRemote2 to work via the Internet (not on the home network).
