I just acquired a brand new shiny Creative Labs Nomad Jukebox Zen, USB 2.0 version. I have installed the Zen driver version 1.20.4.0 from Creative's site. I have installed the Zen driver for MC9. I have upgraded to MC9.0.129.
I get the error "Initialization failed. Please make sure the player is connected and correct drivers are installed." when selecting "Nomad Jukebox" within MC9. When I click OKAY, the window "Initializing Nomad Jukebox. Please wait......" remains on the screen until I select something else.
I can talk to the Nomad using Windows Media Player...
Advice??
Thank you.

Jeff,
Could you try the standalone JukeboxDrivers.exe from the following link....

I was finally able to get it to work by resetting the Zen. Apparently something was screwy in the software itself. While I thought I had full connectivity in WMP, I was actually not able to control it fully.
Thanks for the followup...
