I was wondering if anyone knew of how to remove some of Windows Media Player's forced context menu entries. I'd rather not have stuff like "Add to Playlist", "Play with Media Player", and "Copy to Audio CD" on there when all of Media Center's functions are in a submenu that I just noticed is labelled "Media Jukebox." And clue on how to ditch the WMP stuff and maybe move MC's stuff to the top?

You can delete the WMP stuff by going into the associated file types in the registry and deleting their entries. As for moving MC up I don think this is possible. It is a MS hack that allows their stuff to be at the top...

I don't see any options for removing the options. As far as I know, the File Types dialog doesn't allow you to remove WMP's context menu items. You can just control what a default dbl-click will do, etc.
