I have only a few jtv files <10.
What is the best target format for converting jtv files? mp4?

MP4 or MKV.  Pick a profile with the same Resolution and AutoFPS.  Keep in mind that there is no "remux" option so the video and audio will be transcoded.  It may take awhile.  Try one first and see how you go.

Took a bit of finding, and I don't know if it still works (it was years ago and I no longer use JTV) but this was a little utility that would remux the JTV into a TS format.

mp4 with AUTO FPS worked for me.
