Title: Files not Appearing in Library

Strange situation: the library tree (under 'Artist') has stopped showing an entry for artists such The Beatles, Tom Petty, Neil Young, The Rolling Stones for which I have large numbers (say 20-40) of albums. The individual albums do show up under 'Albums', but they have suddenly disappeared from 'Artists'. They show up in Explorer, and I can play these albums, but they simply do not appear in the tree under 'Artists'. Any ideas?

Check their tags.

Tags are fine, I think. Most have 'Artist' and/or 'Album Artist' filled in. Is there something else I should be looking at?

The stock view uses the Artist tag.  Maybe you've changed it to Album Artist and that's empty.

Otherwise, no idea.

Even albums with 'Album Artist' and 'Artist' filled in do not show up
