I believe this is not a new issue, but following an upgrade from MC27 (which kept crashing also), I find the same happening in MC29. Media Center on the same PC with same hardware, settings used to run fine. Is there anything I can do? This is an extract from the Event Viewe:-

Crashes are most commonly:
Antivirus -- configure Windows Defender. Thread on this board. Don't run any other AV.
Drivers -- most commonly video driver
Occasionally a bad file
Hardware problems like memory or heat or power
It's probably not MC itself.
What are you doing when it happens? What is your equipment?

Thank you. I'll check these out.
