Hello Greenmac. Your question is pretty open-ended, so it is hard to give you a specific answer.

Let's start with this… You say the tags show the album name - is it the same album name for each track (this is critical)? Assuming all the tracks for a given album all use the same album name, then I think your question is regarding a desire to show album covers as thumbnails? Versus showing a detailed track list with columns that contain various file data, such as artist name, track duration, genre, etc.

Assuming that is correct, then go to the Tab at the top of the main content area, click on the small tab arrow (to the right of the tab text) to bring up a menu, click on List Style, and choose Thumbnails (or possibly Album Thumbnails, depending on what type of view you are in).

If that still does not get you where you are looking to go, and even if it does, as a new user it would benefit you to read through the wiki here: https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Getting_Started (https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Getting_Started)

Hope that helps.

Are the Albums where the tracks are showing separately Compilation Albums where different tracks are by different Artists?

If this is the case the reason why they are showing separately is because the Album Artist is set to the Artist(s) performing each track. To get them all to appear as a Single Album you need to set the Album Artist for every track in the Album to the same value - either (Multiple Artists) or Various Artists
