Title: MC 29 crash
Post by: benq999 on May 12, 2022, 12:32:21 pm
MC 29.0.47 crashes when playing videos with JRVR. The same files plays fine with Red October and with MC 28 JRVR. It was okay with early versions of 29. Tried uninstalling and installing with no success. Log file attached. Any tips on how to debug further would be greatly appreciated.

I've added some extra checks to avoid this issue in the future.
In the meantime, you can fix this issue by deleting "libplacebo-199-6.cache" in C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\J River\Media Center 29\Cache\JRVR (it'll be re-created on next launch, no user-data is stored in there)

Can you let me know what size that file has before you delete it? Something got broken in there.

Great, that solved the problem, thanks. The file is 0 KB, attached.

Ok, thanks, I figured that it might be empty for some reason, that explains the issues the best.
