I am using the newest JRiver software on my MacBook Pro and on my iPad.
I can wake the Mac from the iPad and go into the audio/genre/etc. and pick a album. It plays
1 song and then I get the error: audio error streaming.
I have to quit the remote program and restart and then I can start over but it does the same thing.

I apologize . I did not have the latest server software. I just downloaded and installed and it seems to have corrected the problem.
Forgive the rookie.
-
I take it back. It worked fine. Once. Back to the same problem.

More information :
I am able to choose my Samsung TV; no errors when streaming.
This leads me to think that the server is connecting to the TV and not streaming through the iPad. So it seems that the bug lies within the iPad.
I can control the content but it doesn’t like streaming. The same thing happens with the iPhone.

Try a different format of audio. MP3, for example. The iPad may not like the format.
-
All of my files are flac. I could understand that the iPad not support flac but it wouldn’t play any of the files.
I don’t want to play mp3 anyway since I have almost 2 terabytes of files.
-
MC can convert from FLAC to MP3 or WAV on-the-fly.
-
Is there a setting to accomplish that?
I engaged “transcode” and set quality to low. Same problem.
-
I assume you are playing on the iPad, not to the TV or on the Mac.
The iPad should play flac files fine unless they have an higher sample rate than the iPad can handle.
If that's the case, under the server settings in JRemote for the Mac server you are connected to, you can choose to "Transcode Audio" and chose the preset you want to use for transcoding (I'd assume high bandwidth mp3).

The new mc29.056 seems to have corrected the problem.
Thanks for the assistance.
