Title: Keyboard & Mouse inputs buffering frequently

This problem is new to me in MC29 - never experienced before in MC28 with same desktop configuration. On desktop where library resides,  keyboard and mouse input will frequently freeze for around 3-4 seconds and buffer. Once the freeze ends, keyboard input buffered appears on screen. Most noticeable of course when editing field contents but also apparent when using mouse to click on any parts of GUI. The freezes of keyboard/mouse inputs never cause any freeze in media playback

Anyone else experiencing this problem and any ideas?

AMD Ryzen 9 5900X Windows 11 latest build; Nvidia latest driver - let me know what additional info may be useful

Try configuring Windows defender. There is a thread on the MC29 board.

Thanks for the really quick suggestion! I made changes in Windows defender and this resolves the issue I was having!
