Title: Wrong Song Plays

I have recently installed  WINXP PRO OS.

Problem:
When I click on a song to play in MJ 8.0.393... It plays a different song.

Stuff I have tried:
Reinstalled player several time
Changed file naming and location

Do I somehow need to change a default player setting or?

File, Library, Update Library, Remove Files That Do Not Exist

you could remove the library and reimport maybe something is wrong with the library data file.

there is also a newer version.

Is it possible you have other songs in "Playing Now" ahead of the song you're tying to play?   WIth a certain combination of settings, when you double-click on a track in the library, it will add it to the end of "Playing Now" then start playing the first track in "Playing Now"

Check the General settings.

Thanks everyone for your help. It turned out to be a backup CD I made had some bad files on it. I'm not sure why, but that took care of problem.
