Title: Can't connect my Android-phone to use as a remote
Post by: Mark75 on July 10, 2022, 01:15:02 pm
Hi,

after upgrading to MC29 I can't connect with my Android-phone to my HTPC so I can use it as remote. I (still) use Eos but Gizmo also doesn't work. After installing the upgrade I was asked, as always, whether I wanted MC to run on a public or private network. I selected private network but I don't have access. Wake On Lan does work however when I open the Eos-app. My HTPC runs on W10, and so is my desktop. Both have all updates installed. I have a Samsung Galaxy S10 running latest firmware.

What am I doing wrong? Can anyone help me out with this? My HTPC does have an IP-adres and I can access it from my desktop using Teamviewer.

Thanks,
Mark

Please read this:
https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Access_Key

In MC settings, turn Media Network off and back on.  Use the new Access Key.
