Title: MC29 crash attempting to access playlist via right click on radio button
Post by: drfrost on July 21, 2022, 09:45:11 am
Running MC29.0.74 on Win 10 64 bit.

I wanted to update properties on one of my car radio button playlists. Instead of going to 'playlists->car radio', I right-clicked on the appropriate radio button, then 'link to playlist->car radio->[button name]'.

It did not go well - MC crashed. Hardly surprising, I suppose; link to [self] is a bit pointless. Still, rather an appropriately insulting error message to a crash.

Why did I try this route? Because right-click on an object is the typical Windows method of accessing the properties of said object. So possibly an extra entry in the right-click menu to go direct to edit/properties of selected playlist might be useful.

As a priority, I would consider this a very, very minor fix or enhancement to be scheduled for some time in the next decade.

regards

Good find.  Fixed next build.
