Title: MC29 keeps crashing unlike MC28

After upgrading to MC29 from MC28, MC29 crashes about every other time I run it. The crashing doesn't affect other applications. Crashes can occur while the screen is active, or when I switch between applications to MC29 (which was running previously). I haven't found any pattern in actions that cause it to crash. I can't remember MC28 (or prior versions) crashing ever. I made no changes to my computer after upgrading to MC29, i.e., same AV, etc. that was present for MC28. Any help appreciated.

Configure Windows Defender according to instructions on this board.

Remove any other antivirus.
