The latest version of MC seems to be refreshing my library occasionally despite auto-import being off. I've used SysIntenals ProcMon to confirm "Media Center 29.exe" is reading through the entire library.
The downside for me is that some of my media is storeed on a USB attached disk that disk spins up every time this process happens.
Is this a new behaviour with 29.0.81 as I hadn't noticed it before? Is there a way of disabling this background library scan (to repeat, auto-import is off)
I've also checked the Reporter tab in Services and that says "No tools currently running" under Background Tools Running.
