Title: Is there a way to disable Spotlight?
Post by: Dawgincontrol on August 17, 2022, 08:57:49 am
It keeps coming on when I'm dragging files to reorder in a playlist.  Not sure what's setting it off, but it's a nuisance.

Personally, I don't use it, so would like the option to disable it.

You are probably using something older than

29.0.83 (8/2/2022)
1. Fixed: When switching TV channel MC could crash since build 80.
2. NEW: Spotlight added to right-click / context menu for files. Left-click and hold on file no longer launches Spotlight.

Left-click hold was removed there

I was running 290067 with no problems.  Had updated to 290081 recently and that's where I noticed it.

Upgraded to 290083 and this seemed to fix it but this version cuts off the very end of songs while transitioning between tracks in a playlist.

Going back to 290067.

Thanks for the help though lepa.
