Title: File Format Compatibility For Ripped CD
Post by: parisphoto on August 18, 2022, 08:35:45 pm
In which file format should I rip a cd to play in a 10 year old consumer cd player?
I am ONLY concerned with compatibility, not file size, etc.
Thanks

Hmm, doesn't a CD Player play CDs? Why rip it to then record it to a CD again?
That said, if you want to do it so that you can record many hours into a single CD, then MP3 is likely the most widely supported. This does NOT mean that your specific CD Player will play it.
