Hi,
Just tried to play OGG file in MJ8 and it was No-Go. Removed and reinstalled the plugins, still no joy.
Installed Media Center 9.0.124 and the OGG files play, but...
MJ8 does not work. Getting Runtime Error. This application has requested... Contact the Support Team.
Sorry if this has been coverd, but I did not find it in the archives.

you can not have MJ8 and MC9 on the same computer.

Thanks KingSparta,
It seems in the early days of MC9 it was possible, but fair enough now.
Can I just install MJ8 again and get it back working, along with the license, or do I have to access my key on the JRiver site?
Any comment on MJ8 handling OGG. The plugins are visible and the facility seems to be there, but it does not work.

PS After some absence, I seem to read that the license rulses have changed back to the way it was in the early days of MJ8. That is the kay resides on my PC.
Is this correct?

you may have problems with the library, since it was converted to a new format

that is not correct.
you can download a file that is good for 14 days (for activating other computers of yours).
after 14 days you must restore from the website, like many other programs do now days.
Any comment on MJ8 handling OGG.
it may have an older playback plugin that it was encoded with.
there have been many changes with OGG so it should not be shocking
