Title: SUP subtitle files do not seem to be visible to MC
Post by: bogdanbz on September 11, 2022, 12:20:21 pm
I noticed that sup subtitle files (it's a bitmap format) are not working. I don't know if this is a missing feature or a bug.

Try renaming the file to .PGS (same as SUP, I believe)
MC supports PGS streams embedded in MKV files, but I don't know if it supports loading an external PGS file. If not, there are tools to convert PGS to other formats.

Renaming the subtitle file to pgs did not work. There must be something different about sup files.

SUP files contain PGS subtitles, so they would be the same, but we don't support them externally right now.
