Sounds like MC thinks your library isn't right.
Try File/Update Library.
and Tools/Import (make sure the right file types are checked).
-
I have updated libary but this produced no changes. All files appear in the libary under the correct location and I have not moved any.
Are the any limitations regarding how many sub folders the location is? ? :(
-
I have now cleared the database a re-imported the files, although on the summary they show as being imported they do not appear anywhere!! Can I revert back to version 8? I have just paid for V9 today.
-
Don't know the answer to your question, but experience with these guys tell me that v.9 _will_ work, also for you.
-
i would uninstall MC9
Make Sure Program Files\J River And All Dirs Are Deleted
Then Reinstall MC9
Re-Import
=============================
MC9 maynot have upgraded your Library correctly.
and looking at your system info it is still using the Media Jukbox Folder.
If you do a clean install MC9 will not create that folder and will use the Media Center Dir For All It's Data Files.
Right now MC9 is looking into your Old Folders
I still think somtimes MC9 does not Convert to the new system correctly.

If I am to clear the j river folder completely can I copy the data folder so that I will not loose my playlists?
-
you can do that, but i would back them up for now.
and just do a clean install.
