Title: Help me with audio calibration
Post by: lello on September 20, 2022, 04:18:44 am
I wanted to try the audio calibration, so after measuring the speaker levels via tools> advanced tools> audio calibration> volume I entered these values in room correction> set levels from decibel meter and in particular 75db on the front, surround and back surround, 78db on the central and 60db for the sub.

Of course, as indicated, I also entered the distances of the various speakers.

The result was an overall lower sound in particular the almost non-existent central.

I then went back to "set levels from decibel meter" (which among other things did not report the values I previously entered but all the fields were empty) and after several tests the only decent one was to enter only the values of the speakers frontal.

Where am I wrong? :-[

Ok, having not received an answer, the problem is probably mine alone.

Could I at least know why every time I reopen the "set levels from decibel meter" tab, all the values are zero? How can I understand what the current situation is?

What did you use to measure? Your sub in particular sounds miles off.

I used a sound level meter positioned on the main listening point. The sub sounds low, but if I increase the volume it becomes annoying :(
