Title: JRVR - Remote Control Of Parameters?
Post by: eve on September 26, 2022, 03:55:41 pm
Hi,

Testing out a MC29 trial. Is it possible to control JRVR's settings / parameters via MC's command line or MCWS? Specifically, it would be nice to be able to change the HDR tonemapping target nits, and frankly the scaling methods would be great to automate.

Honestly I have a few weird questions about MC's command line or MCWS and integrating some of MC's functions into Home Assistant (would love to be able to say 'list' each audio / subtitle track with it's 'comment' for a playing video but I'm not sure if that's possible). What's the appropriate forum for that?

You can set up separate profiles for separate zones (Zones and ZoneSwitch on the wiki).

We don't provide support for Home Assistant.  We've just got Alexa working.  It probably can't do what you want yet.
