Maybe this is just on my system...
If I open, edit, and save an existing visualization in Visualization Studio MC9 crashes the next time I attempt to play a file. If I re-start the application it again fails to play any audio file (crashing again). The only solution is to uninstall and reinstall Media Center.
I can repeat the problem by editing seemingly any visualization and saving that edited file.

Try this:
- Back up your customised visualisation.
- UNINSTALL MC completely
- Reboot? I always do...
- Reinstall MC
- In the Visualisation folder create a subfolder. Mine is called (for lack of a better word) custom.
- Restore your visualisation here.
