Title: Windows 7 64 bit
Post by: proton32060 on October 11, 2022, 06:01:40 pm
I haven't needed to upgrade for years but I do it to support JRiver.
29 runs fine on Win 7 64 bit, will 30 also run?

Like I said, I don't need to upgrade but I am trying to support the company.

Let's make it simpler.
If 30 installs  and it runs then it is pretty much going to run?

If it installs and plays files  on Win 7 it would be safe to upgrade?
Is that a correct assumption?

There shouldn't be any changes in 30 that would make it run any less on Windows 7 then 29 did.

This Post may be helpful to others because there are some of us who will NEVER upgrade to Windows 10 regardless.
To indicate how serious I am,  I have 6 identical Windows 7 compatible motherboards, CPU's, and 3 new copies of Windows 7 to make sure I never have to upgrade.
I also have the Activation Saver program.

I am probably older than most of you and go back to MS-DOS.
Windows 10 finally crossed the line with me and I will never upgrade.

But for any Windows 7 users I installed it and it worked perfectly without a hitch.
I just paid for the upgrade about 10 minutes ago.
Like I said, it doesn't do anything new I need but I am trying to support the company.
