Title: HDR10+ support in latest nvidia drivers
Post by: bogdanbz on November 19, 2022, 04:57:47 am
According to nvidia, their latest drivers bring support (https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/news/geforce-rtx-4080-game-ready-driver/) for HDR10+ gaming. It's in the release notes of the latest Studio drivers as well.

I imagine this is only possible when using nvidia's API for switching the display to HDR mode. If so, maybe instead of doing color space conversion in JRVR from HDR10+ to HDR10, the dynamic metadata can be sent directly to the display when the display is switched to HDR10+ mode.
