Title: stumped on linked systems timing for xmas music (timing delay doesn't work)
Post by: jack wallstreet on December 25, 2022, 09:00:12 am
It's the holidays and I am linking my sonos speaker systems to play holiday music throughout the house.  A SONOS 5.1 Arc system and two SONOS MOVES.  I can link them but the adjust timing sliders have no effect, no matter which of the two linked systems I change using the timing sliders.  I still have the same delay out of the MOVES.  Is there something blocking the timing sliders from working or am I missing something basic.  I am stopping playback each time and restarting.

I assume you're using Sonos software to adjust timing, not MC.  Right?

Sorry for being unclear.  I was trying to use the MC timing that is available with linking.  I adjusted each speaker set individually.  Neither adjustment had any impact.  It didn't occur to me to use SONOS when there was what looked like a great adjustment in MC.  Should I be using SONOS instead
