Hi, is there a way to customize the subtitles, like having a shadow or changing the width of the outline?

See screenshot. The options window search function (see arrow in screenshot) is dedicated for filtering relevant MC settings (i.e., type "subtitle" in search box)

Yeah I saw that, but it doesn't show the options I'm looking for

MC does not have an option to apply shadows to text directly, but you can change to a subtitle font that already has shadows built-in. I don't believe most OSs include a shadow font by default, but you can download/install them from a myriad of sites such as:
https://www.fontspace.com/category/shadow or https://designshack.net/articles/inspiration/shadow-fonts/
The subtitle footprint "width" is not something the user can modify directly, but if you increase/decrease the subtitle "size" (from 50% to 150%) that effectively increases/decreases the height/width it occupies on the screen. But I imagine you knew that already as well.
