Title: Bitstreaming showing error after Ver 30.0.31 (64 bit)
Post by: bangkokbrian on January 13, 2023, 03:54:02 am
Updates from version 30.0.31 up to the latest version are showing an error message (see attachment) when trying to play video files using DTS. DTS HD MA audio (no issues with Dolby audio). I have had no issues previously with video files using DTS audio. Bitstreaming is set to "Yes (HDMI).

I'm an avid admirer and user of JRiver but not very technical.

Win11 connected via HDMI to Yamaha RX-V6A to Sony X950H using eARC.

I have a several DTS-MA trailer clips. Eight of them are are m2ts, five of them are mkv. The eight m2ts clips play perfectly fine, while the five mkv clips do not just getting "something went wrong with playback" error.

Simple bitstreaming wasapi to Denon AVR via HDMI from nvidia 1660ti. Have not played these trailer clips in a while, so no idea when they stopped working. Currently on v30.0.48 here.

EDIT: Not a MC issue. The mkv files were defective (would not play in any app). I re-downloaded, imported, and tested - playing fine.
