Title: [BUG] PEQ Adjust Volume only allows adjustments to named channels in DSP Studio
Post by: mattkhan on January 13, 2023, 12:56:43 pm
open DSP Studio
set output format to output to > 8 channels
go to PEQ
add "Adjust Volume"
open channel list

only shows the named channels (L R C etc) and the user channels (U1, U2), C## (C9 etc) channels not selectable

creating the filter and uploading it via MCWS works fine though (and is shown in the filter list + applied correctly)

i.e. this is a DSP Studio UI bug

I'm trying to reproduce.  I set 32 output channels.

Then I added an "Adjust volume" filter and it lists "Channel 9; Channel 10; ..." all the way to "Channel 32".

Picking 9 and 10 shows: +0.0 dB (#9,#10)

So where is it falling down?

Thanks.

Try with the extra channels option instead

it's definitely that, the dropdown just tracks the channels and ignores the extra channels

Thanks.  I'll try to address it next build.

Thanks

same problem applies to some other filters too (e.g. reverse polarity, linkwitz transform) so I guess it affects all of them
