Title: Does 'internal volume' bypass the Windows volume processing?
Post by: jan.didden on February 01, 2023, 04:28:55 am
I am using Internal Volume because I assume that that is the least lossy and has the highest headroom for DSP processing.
But I noticed that the Windown volume slider still works. I was under the impression that Internal Volume bypasses any other (Windows) volume settings.
Can anyone tell me how all this hangs together?
Is there another setting to bypass all Windows processing and just use JRiver's processing?

That's an output device setting so you need to set a mode which bypasses the mixer, eg asio if you have it or I think wasapi exclusive also does.
