Is there a way to display when a show was "last played" while streaming from the DLNA server?

When watching tv series I may not binge them and want to wait a few days but cannot remember where I left off.  Trying to make this work like Netflix and how it remembers what you have watched.

Made a tutorial a while ago. Not sure if "after playback expression" works over DLNA but you could test that.

If it doesn't work with DLNA you could use glynor's method which is in ref links
