Title: What is the syntax to have multiple artists on the same track?
Post by: tomgrounds on February 17, 2023, 10:59:01 pm
I've been through all of the documentation, and I can find multiple artists on an album, but is there a syntax that allows me to have multiple artists on the same track and have the artists appear individually in the Artist listing?

Example - a track called 'Singing a Song' with Artist 1, Artist 2, Artist 3.

Then in the Artists listing I see each artist listed separately instead of a single artist listed as 'Artist 1, Artist 2, Artist 3'

I'm looking for the tags to do the same on my other devices like Sonos.

Not sure if I got what you mean but how is your artist tag filled?
Artist1;Artist2;Artist3 or Artist1,Artist2,Artist3? First one shows the song in each of artist's category and latter is identified as one artist

Thanks - I tried using the semicolon and when I went to verify that the same song appeared for all of the artists, and I only see it showing up for the first artist and not on the subsequent ones.
