Title: Hangs with MC29 and MC30

I was using v29, and it hung.  Upon restart of v29 and now same behaviour on v30.0.63, upon start up, it won't get to the main window.  Screen stays black and it keeps losing the HDMI connection to the receiver.  Seems to start several hundred JRiver web applications, at one point there were hundreds of the MS edge web viewers to accompany.

I was using v29 on same machine happily, but I killed it when it hung rebuilding a thumbnail (I think).  I don't think windows or anything else has changed recently.

Any suggestions as it is not a version thing as both v29 and v30 are doing this now.  I have restarted PC, uninstalled (but not cleaned registry settings).

Something must have changed if you have the same problem with two different versions.

Antivirus or firewall?  New router?

Windows restore?

Try removing any devices you've been playing to.
