I realize that @JimH has said multiple times that integration with streaming services will not be supported by JRiver, but would it be possible to do something like this:
- open the web streaming service within JRiver using a browser engine.
- In JRemote/Gizmo, add a "streaming service" icon which is basically the web interface of the streaming service.
This will give JRiver the ability to stream ANY service without having to approach each company to negotiate.

Like this?

..or this for streaming radio (you have to find the direct URL for these which can be hard)

There is a streaming section in MC. Have you tried Cloudplay?
Are you aware of WDM? Wiki.

Thank you for your replies, everyone.
@jmone, yes I mean like that. However, I can not get my streaming service to open. If you look at the first attached image, I added Idagio (www.idagio.com). It displays in the drop down box, but does not appear as an option I can press on.
If you look at the second image, the dialog box says URL. I enter the URL, and it says file://www.idagio.com and then won't load.
@JimH no, I was not referring to Cloudplay. Sorry, I should have been clearer in my first post. I meant third party streaming service, like Spotify, Idagio, Tidal, etc.

Ah, I figured it out. I have to type http://www.idagio.com in the dialog box instead of just www.idagio.com.
I have a new problem now. I will try to figure it out before I come back here for help because I am still feeling silly for not figuring this one out earlier.

No probs - it's all new to us at some point!
